Do you only use recycled timber and what do you make?

We aim to use Australian recycled, reclaimed and sustainably sourced hardwood timber. We focus on pieces that stylise your home, such as hall & coffee tables, desks, bar and kitchen trolleys, just to name a few. Personal Designs that rightfully become a 'Centre Piece' that reflect your individual style which is totally unique and not replicated anywhere else!

Why choose custom made?

Handcrafted furniture is typically made on a smaller scale, our focus is on locally sourced timber when possible, which contributes to a smaller environmental footprint and generating less waste. This also provides economic support to local small business & the community. Knowing the person who crafted your furniture creates a more meaningful connection between you and your belongings and enhance your appreciation for the craftsmanship and the story behind it.

How should I care for my timber furniture?

Our furniture will require very little maintenance, a light dusting from time to time, and a wipe over with a damp cloth, if required use a non-toxic, eco friendly cleaning spray.

What sort of warranty does CPF provide?

Products supplied by Centre Piece Furniture hold a 2 year structural warranty.

Natural environmental factors may affect the condition of furniture which can lead to cupping, timber splitting, shrinkage, expansion and timber finish discolouration which unfortunately cannot be warrantied.

What finishes do you use?

We aim to use non/low toxic finishes and paints on all of our products, when possible to bring out the wood's colours and textures.

Does it really take six weeks or more to make a custom piece?

Everything we make is handmade from scratch in our workshop. We always endeavour to get your custom order to your door in 6-8 weeks from time of ordering.
