Our furniture requires little care and maintenance, durable finsihes have been applied to protect all surfaces. Dusting and a quick wipe over with a damp cloth should keep the piece in tiptop condition. No need for harsh chemical clearner, if required, use a eco friendly non-toxic spray solution.
The desk is a mix of hardwood and pine, the original mid brown stain was completely sanded down to reveal the warm grain of the top main section of the desk, and the three drawers have beautiful contrasting tones possibly cut from the same length of timber to make up each drawer front. The desk is 1970s era, a popular student desk in it's day, a very compact size, it's secret weapon is of course the two extention leaves, which take it from office or study to art project platform in an instant.
Taubmans 3 in 1 stain blocking prep paint was used as the undercoat on the main body, and Taubmans Coloursmith app was used to create a personalised blue/grey tone for the top coat which ties in beautifully with the timber.
